| Position Description: | POSITION: Fleet Maintenance Technician REQUISITION #: R7151 LOCATION: City of Ft Collins, CO EMPLOYMENT TYPE/BENEFIT CATEGORY: Full-Time Regular, Classified ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $54,874 - $76,562 ANNUAL ANTICIPATED HIRING RANGE: Salary will fall within the above range and is based on experience and certification. Position works a swing shift and is eligible for 7.5% shift differential pay. SELECTION PROCESS: Application deadline is 3:00 p.m. MT on 8/4/2023 The City of Fort Collins Facilities & Fleet team is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Tech to support keeping our vehicles in good condition so that they are safe, reliable, and can stay on the road. This position will work at the Transfort Maintenance Facility with a team of technicians, fuelers, and drivers in a well-equipped shop with good lighting and lifts. Our fleet includes 50+ transit buses, both CNG and electric and about 30 standard fleet vehicles that run in all kinds of weather and conditions. Work hours: Mon – Fri, 4:30p to 12:30p. Uniforms, safety shoes, and safety equipment are provided. CDL training and licensing are provided if needed. See below for required licenses and certifications. Salary is based on a step-level pay structure. Placement within this position’s step levels is determined by competencies and A.S.E. certifications. The annual salary range of $54,874 - $76,562 is equivalent to an hourly wage of $27.44 to $38.28 with additional benefits including paid vacation days, sick days, full benefits, and a swing shift increase.
